A: No, in 2006 the Board of Trustees of The Baptist Home voted to have an open admissions policy. One scriptural basis for this is Galatians 6:10 which states we are to “do good to all people, especially the household of faith.”
Q: Do Residents Need to Give ALL of their Assets to the Baptist Homes?
A: No, this policy was changed in 1981. Turning over all of your assets is no longer a requirement for admission. Residents or their responsible parties can manage their own funds and receive a bill for services.
